A racehorse was filmed galloping through a Scottish town after releasing its rider on Monday afternoon.
Ten-year-old Rufio was taking part in the final race of the Virgin Bet Christmas Jumper Raceday in Musselburgh when he let go of his jockey.
Rufio then escaped from the track and raced through a nearby town.
The incredible incident was caught on camera as Rufio was filmed galloping through Prestonpans – a town east of Edinburgh – while still wearing his saddle with race number seven on it.
A spokesperson later confirmed that Rufio had been found and returned to the racecourse.
The spokesperson said, as quoted by The Telegraph: ‘A horse released its rider and left the track during the last race.

‘This is an extremely rare occurrence and fortunately the horse was returned to the racecourse unharmed by our ground crew after its short journey towards Prestonpans.’
It was also reported that jockey Lucy Brown was safe and sound after being removed from his seat.
Another full day of racing is planned for Tuesday, with meetings in Southwell, Fontwell and Uttoxeter.
This follows the Chepstow Christmas Party race day and the Boylesports Becher Chase at Aintree being canceled on Saturday due to severe weather from Storm Darragh.
