This is the hilarious moment a raccoon gives police the runaround at a Colorado store after he was kicked off a wall he got trapped in.

The creature was seen breaking into the Boulder distribution center after a truck arrived from Louisville with a delivery.

The pallets were being unloaded when workers noticed the raccoon crawling away.

Employees began a search for the animal during the morning and were unable to find it.

The raccoon was finally found stuck upside down in wood along a wall after a 45-minute hunt.

One of the workers was trying to slide the panel off when the raccoon jumped out of hiding.

The animal ran past Boulder Police Animal Protection Supervisor J. Whittle and led the officers in hot pursuit.

Police body camera footage showed officers running after the raccoon and a worker grabbing a kennel and placing it on the ground before catching it.

“We finally found the raccoon we were looking for,” Whittle said.

Whittle said they were able to trace the Louisville address where the truck picked up the pallets and made sure to send the raccoon back to their playing fields.

“He had a lot of hiding places, trees and dumpsters,” Whittle said. I hope he has found his family and friends in Louisville.
