Inside TikTok thug’s vicious beating of his influencer girlfriend – and he’s STILL on bail

EXCLUSIVE

A wannabe TikTok star has admitted to stalking his influencer girlfriend after they had sex in a hotel room and then told her ‘we can work this out – I love you so much’.

Rabih Houchar initially denied that she viciously attacked Tara Eslami after she flew from Melbourne to Sydney to celebrate fellow influencer Alia Elhassan’s birthday.

Houchar, whose TikTok account ‘dior_onma_body’ has been stripped of all content but still has 16,800 followers, remains at large after pleading guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He is banned from using the internet as part of his bail conditions and has no source of income other than the $1,000 to $1,500 a week he previously claimed to earn from his social media accounts.

The 27-year-old already had a history of violent crimes, including serving a prison sentence for theft in company, before he attacked Ms Eslami seven months ago.

Ms Eslami, who is also known as Tara Eve and has more than 22,000 followers on TikTok and Instagram, traveled to Sydney for Ms Elhassan’s birthday party on June 15 last year.

The boat party attracted a crowd of popular TikTokers, including Ms Elhassan’s sister Jenny Elhassan and Evelyn Ellis, who has almost 238,000 followers.

Videos posted online showed partygoers driving around the city in luxury cars, dancing on a yacht while drinking champagne and then heading to a room at the Crown hotel.

The next day at around 1pm, Ms Eslami had lunch with Houchar, with whom she had been in an on-again, off-again relationship for eight months.

According to a statement of facts tendered to Downing Center Local Court, the couple argued during the meal, but Mrs Eslami described the disagreement as ‘nothing serious’.

After lunch the pair returned to room 1006 at the Vibe Hotel in Sussex Street, where Ms Eslami began reading text messages from a friend who did not like Houchar.

During a bail hearing in August, it was alleged that Houchar told Ms Eslami: ‘I don’t like the girls you hang out with’ before confiscating her phone and breaking the screen.

The High Court heard Ms Eslami took her phone back and said: ‘I’m going to call the police. I should have done this sooner.’

Houchar responded by kissing Ms Eslami and telling her: ‘I’m sorry, let me fix this, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have reacted like that. Now let’s go buy you a new phone.’

He apologized repeatedly and said, “I’m sorry, let me fix this,” according to the statement of facts.

“The victim realized that the suspect had calmed down, became empathetic and both had sexual intercourse,” the statement said.

‘After the intercourse the suspect said: ‘We can break up after this, you don’t have to go to the police.’

Houchar, who has a child in Perth, then showed Ms Eslami photos of other women on Snapchat, insinuating he could be with another woman.

Another argument ensued and Ms Eslami headed for the door, but Houchar stopped her from leaving by grabbing her arm.

“I’m not afraid of you,” Mrs. Eslami told Houchar.

“This time you’re not going to scare me, just go away.” I go to the police and show my phone. I have voice recordings from the past.’

As Ms Eslami grabbed her bag and walked to the door again, Houchar pulled her back by the shirt, ripping it open.

He dragged Ms Eslami by her hair across the floor to the bed and then started punching her in the face.

“The victim cannot remember how many punches occurred because it happened so quickly,” the statement said.

Ms Eslami felt dizzy and suffered a cut lip and a bump on her forehead.

When Houchar finished attacking Ms Eslami, he walked away and started hitting himself in the head.

A concerned Ms Eslami grabbed Houchar by the arms and told him to calm down. He responded by saying, “Why are you doing this to me? We can solve this. I love you so much.’

Ms Eslami led Houchar to the bed and took something cold from the refrigerator to apply to his head.

As Houchar tended to his own injuries, Ms Eslami tried to flee again, but he grabbed her arm and led her back to the bed.

As Houchar continued to apologise, Ms Eslami told him: ‘F*** off, please leave me alone, I’m done, I never want to see you again.’

Houchar then sat on top of Ms Eslami and punched her in the head. Ms Eslami begged Houchar to stop, but he used his legs to keep her still.

‘Stop? I’m going to jail,” he said, before Ms Eslami managed to escape.

Police arrived at the hotel at around 7.40pm and spoke separately to Ms Eslami and Houchar, who claimed the couple had only had a verbal dispute.

Houchar was refused bail when he pleaded not guilty the next day to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, destroying or damaging property and stalking or intimidation.

He was granted bail on August 19 and pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm at Downing Center Local Court on November 29, when the other charges were withdrawn. An additional charge of common assault was also dismissed.

At the same time, Magistrate Janet Wahlquist imposed a two-year domestic violence order to protect Ms. Eslami from Houchar.

Houchar was sentenced in July 2017 to a minimum of two years and three months for theft in company and dealing with the proceeds of crime.

He was sentenced to an 18-month community corrections order in September 2022 after being convicted of deliberately distributing an intimate image without consent.

In an unrelated matter, Jenny Elhassan made headlines in April 2022 when she became the victim of an acid attack by three masked men who threw a corrosive substance on her face outside a Chinatown restaurant.

Alia Elhassan was previously married to convicted drug smuggler Steven Elmir, once considered one of Sydney’s most feared underworld figures.

Houchar, from Guildford in Sydney’s west, will face a hearing later this month.
