R. Tassorian Games announces a Cyberpunk Edgerunners-themed TTPRG starter pack

It’s been almost two years Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the anime miniseries set in the universe of Mike Pondsmith’s sci-fi tabletop RPG franchise, premiered on Netflix and has wormed its way into the hearts of fans worldwide. If you’re still disappointed that there are still no plans for a second season, rejoice: R. Talsorian Games, the publisher behind the Cyberpunk TTRPG, announced a new box set for the game on Tuesday, inspired by both anime.

Created in collaboration with CD Projekt Red, the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit is a starter pack for the tabletop game, intended as a love letter to fans of both the anime and the game. Cyberpunk 2077with all new cards from Night City, standees with new cards, standees and Cyberpunk Edgerunners-themed dice.

The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit consists of three books totaling 120 pages and includes instructions on how to play for new players, a timeline of the Cyberpunk universe prior to the events of Cyberpunk 2077as well as new lore and official backgrounds for David Martinez, Lucy Kushinada, and the rest of the main cast of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. As if that weren’t enough, the kit also includes seven new pre-generated characters for players to choose from, with artwork designed by Cyberpunk: Edgerunners director Hiroyuki Imaishi.

R. Tassorian Games has announced that the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit will cost $35 USD when it releases in mid-to-late June.
