It’s a new month, but the same old Quordle, offering the usual challenge of dastardly difficult word puzzles. I didn’t find today too difficult, but maybe I did – so read on for my tips if you need them.

This was a relatively simple Quordle puzzle for me, but it might not be for you. A few words – PARRY and POSSE – have repeated letters, and SYNOD has an unusual structure with a Y sandwiched between S and N at the beginning. None of these caused any real problems thanks to my three starter words, STARE, DOILY, and PUNCH, which gave me all but one of the letters needed to solve today’s word quartet. It’s not the most flamboyant way to play, but it works for me…
