Quordle today – hints and answers for Wednesday April 24 (game #821)

Welcome to Wednesday’s Quordle. It is the same as Monday, Tuesday and all other days, except that it takes place today and not on any other day. Ahem.

As always, you get four Wordle-style puzzles to solve at the same time, and there’s another game in the form of the Daily Sequence variant, where you take turns completing them. And as always, it can be tricky – so there’s no shame if you need to use some of my tips.

SPOILER WARNING: Information about today’s Quordle is below, so don’t read on if you don’t want to know the answers.

The answers to today’s Quordle, game #821, are…

The combination of repeated letters and relatively unusual words (STEAD, SHEEN) have been combined today to make this another quite difficult Quordle. Not terribly hard, but come on – it’s hard enough to complete all four quadrants without making some words harder to solve than standard.

That said, my own game would have been a lot easier if I hadn’t played SHINE instead of SHEEN, even though I already knew the third letter had to be E. That was a stupid mistake, but it didn’t stop me. With every major problem I could still solve this Quordle with one guess to spare.
