Today’s Quordle is not one of those extremely difficult ones, or at least that was my experience. But it’s not that simple either. There are a few traps waiting for unwary Quordlers, so read on if you want some tips – or head over to my comments if you just want to see how I got on.

What is the most difficult word for Quordle? There’s probably no single word that would get this honor, but PLAZA would definitely be in the running. Not only does it contain two As (not a letter that is often repeated), but there is also one at the end of the word, where As is not common. And of course it contains a Z – one of the least common letters in the game or the alphabet in general.
Luckily, this isn’t my first rodeo. With a green P and middle A in place, and a yellow L also lurking, I saw him brainstorming internally after a while. DAILY and SINGE were both extremely easy thanks to the letters I had already discovered at the time, and although TULIP required a bit more thinking, I was able to solve today’s Quordle with two guesses left.
