Let’s be honest: LLAMA is a terrible word for Quordle, or any wordplay for that matter. Two L’s don’t often go together at the beginning of a word in English (it’s much more common in Welsh, among other languages) and it may not have occurred to you today. Add to that the fact that it also has two A’s and you have a recipe for disaster.
Elsewhere, CAULK is a word that caused endless problems in Wordle a few years ago, and neither CUMIN nor RABID are exactly easy. Moreover, nowadays there was a shortage of really common letters, with no S, T, E or O to be found. I finally solved it, with one guess left, but it was a difficult word. On the plus side, the daily series was quite easy.
