The news was revealed on Queer Eye’s official Instagram and hosts Tan France and Jonathan Van Ness mourned the loss of their friend, who appeared in the first episode of Netflix’s 2018 reboot.
“It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a member of our family. Rest In Peace Tom Jackson,’ the post read, which included photos of the late guest on the show.
Jackson’s obituary says he passed away on Friday, March 3, at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia, where he spent his final days surrounded by family.
