Queensland Police launch urgent search for girl who vanished without a trace two days ago

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a 13-year-old girl who went missing from the Queensland town of Birkdale on January 20.

The girl was last seen leaving an address in Song Place at around 6pm on Saturday and has not been seen or heard from since.

Police and family are concerned for her welfare due to her age and she has a medical condition.

She is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 160 cm tall, of slim build, with long brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a white jacket, camouflage shirt and black sand shoes.

Police are calling on the girl or anyone with information about her whereabouts to call police.
