Queensland police issue urgent plea to help locate missing 20-year-old Mackay woman
Desperate search launched for missing woman, 20, believed to have strayed 220 miles from home

Queensland Police are seeking ‘urgent’ help from the public to locate a missing woman following a ‘strange’ disappearance.
Kayla Preston-Yasserie, 20, was last seen by a friend on Wednesday, as family and police worried about her well-being.
Although she usually lived in Mackay, police believe she traveled to Townsville and could be in the area.

Police said Ms Preston-Yasserie may have traveled to Townsville
“Police are appealing to Kayla, or anyone with information on her whereabouts, to contact them,” a police spokesman said.
Residents of both cities have been asked to look out for Kayla, with her disappearance labeled “out-of-character.”
She is described as being 160 cm tall, with long dark hair, a slim build and an average complexion.
