Emergency services are rushing to the scene of a light aircraft crash off the coast of Queensland.
Queensland Ambulance confirmed on Friday that paramedics and two rescue helicopters were responding to assist occupants after a light aircraft crashed in waters off the Sunshine Coast near Maroochydore about 9am.
There were at least two occupants on board the aircraft at the time.
Their condition is currently unknown, a spokesperson said.

Queensland Police have confirmed emergency services are on the scene, including officers from the Sunshine Coast Water Patrol.
“No other information is available at this time,” a spokeswoman said.
The plane is believed to be a Cessna aircraft.
