Queensland dad’s horror after hidden camera found in the changeroom of his daughter’s primary school

A police investigation has been launched after a hidden camera was found in the girls’ locker room at a Queensland primary school.

Teachers were alerted after a student discovered the webcam hidden in the Brisbane primary school swimming pool changing room.

Nearly two weeks ago, an email was sent to parents confirming that a camera had been found on the school grounds, stating that ‘the safety and well-being of your children continues to be the school’s top priority’.

Parents were also asked to “consider not commenting on the matter on social media or other forums.”

An outraged father, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, described it as ‘the sickest thing you could possibly do’.

Parents say they have been kept in the dark about how long the device had been there and how many children may have been captured on video.

“Some sick person ended up at my daughter’s school – a place where they should be safe and learn,” he said 9NEWS.

“We have no answers, no one is telling us anything, it’s just wrong.”
