Levi’s stepmother, Petrina Hanna, told the mail Scarlett, the teen’s 12-year-old sister, watched the horrific incident unfold.

Sergeant Peter Bailey said 7News the motorist who struck him was not injured in the incident.

“She is extremely distraught,” he said.

“We have offered assistance to her and to anyone else who has been affected by this incident.”
