Jordan’s Queen Rania looked glamorous as she stepped out for a parliamentary meeting amid allegations of security threats from the family.

The Jordanian monarch, 52, attended parliament today for the speech of husband King Abdullah II, and stepped into the government building wearing a voluminous blowout, a luxurious branded dress and custom clutch.

The firetruck red maxi dress, trimmed with a black waist belt, is from Beirut-born designer Hussein Bazaza and a custom clutch from British designer Jennifer Chamandi.

The speech follows internal turmoil within the senior ranks of the Jordanian royal family, where claims of security breaches have forced King Abdullah to address the nation with assurances that the country’s security was his honor.

Middle East coverage explains that King Abdullah II addressed the nation on Nov. 9 following accusations against his half-brother.

The king wanted to form a united front amid the battle after the arrest of 16 people, including members of the royal family.

The king’s brother, Prince Hamzah, who was crown prince, was not arrested, but the military asked him to “stop movements and activities used to attack the security of Jordan and its stability.”

Since the allegations came to light, Queen Rania of Jordan has been seen visiting the Vatican, where she and her husband King Abdullah radiated glamor in Vatican City.

The visit came a day after the king’s heartfelt national speech.

The glamorous royal, 52, looked respectful in the black dress with a white bow around her waist for an audience with Pope Francis with her husband at the Apostolic Palace.

The mother-of-four also wore a sheer white headscarf that was draped over her hair and around her shoulders.
