The Belgian royal family released two new portraits this weekend to mark Queen Mathilde’s 51st birthday.
The royal family took over Instagram to share news that Mathilde, the first native Belgian queen, celebrated her special day yesterday.
The royal appeared in good spirits as she posed for the cameras at the Royal Domain of Laeken, the official residence of the Belgian royal family in Brussels.
And the mother-of-four delivered a typically stylish display in her new portraits.
Mathilde paired a £120 ‘Maree’ Dobby quilted gilet from Baleno Clothing Europe with chocolate corduroy trousers.

She added a touch of glamor to the outfit with a pair of £55 ‘Gabrielle’ resin earrings from Sezanne, the same pair the Princess of Wales wore to a polo match in 2019.
Taking to Instagram, the royal household posted the post with the caption: ‘Congratulations to the Queen! She’s celebrating her 51st birthday today!’
Mathilde smiled as she looked at the camera in the photos, taken at the beautiful location of the Royal Domain gardens, opposite the Japanese Tower in Laeken, Brussels. Belgium

She opted for a natural makeup look, complete with a hint of blush on her cheeks.
The second image offered a full shot of the royal family, and she posed casually with one hand tucked into her pockets as she kept her gaze to the side of the camera.
It comes after Queen Mathilde of Belgium made a stylish appearance at the annual World Economic Forum in Davos last week.
