Queen Letizia of Spain showcased corporate chic today as she attended an ‘All Against Cancer’ presentation in the country’s capital.
The stylish mother-of-two, 51, put her best foot forward to chair the gathering ahead of World Cancer Day on February 4.
Her husband, King Felipe, was noticeably absent from the event, but the former journalist took charge and delivered a well-received speech on a cause close to her heart.

She combined the blouse with a silhouette-enhancing gray houndstooth skirt and a black leather waist belt with a gold buckle.
The royal also wore a pair of black leather high-heeled pumps and didn’t appear to want a matching bag.
Her luscious brunette locks were coiffed to perfection and turned out so smooth that they looked like they were glistening in the light.
Letizia’s warm smile highlighted her dewy makeup, which was perfect for today’s occasion.
She wore her signature neutral base, of course, with just a hint of pink eyeshadow, black mascara and a glossy pink lip to finish it off.
She opted for minimal jewelry, with just three miniature gold hoop earrings in each ear and a matching gold ring.

World Cancer Day is celebrated annually around the world on February 4 and aims to raise awareness about cancer and promote the prevention, detection and treatment of various forms of cancer.
Her appearance comes after she almost committed jewelery fraud yesterday afternoon when she received members of the Diplomatic Corps at the royal palace.
Together with King Felipe, 56, she welcomed guests from around the world to Madrid’s Zarzuela Palace, but all eyes were on her fallen bracelet.
The Queen proved her down-to-earth nature as she appeared to kneel during the ceremony and pick up her fallen diamond bracelet, determined not to interrupt proceedings.
She completed the graceful action with a warm smile before standing tall and regaining her composure.
She combined the blouse with a gray houndstooth skirt that accentuates the silhouette and a black leather waist belt with a gold buckle.

Looking like she stepped out of a fairytale, Letizia stunned in a navy jacket-style dress that graced the floor and just barely covered her shoes.
She looked ethereal in the chic ensemble, which also featured round buttons, a center belt and a v-neck design.
The royal completed the look with a stunning pair of blue pointy high heel pumps and matching glittering jewelry.
Letizia wore a sparkling silver and sapphire set, consisting of a necklace, a bracelet and beautiful earrings.
At some point during the day, the unassuming royal was seen playing with the clasp of the bracelet, perhaps trying to get it to stay in place so as not to fall again.
Letizia reassembled the bracelet without any help and went about the day without any pomp or ceremony.

The royal family’s makeup was mostly nude, with the Queen opting for just a hint of peach eyeshadow, mascara and a pink glossy lip.
Her brunette locks were typically sleek – for today’s events they were styled with a side part and loose curls.
Meanwhile, King Felipe cut a dapper figure in a black blazer, waistcoat and striped gray trousers.
He completed the look with a matching dark blue tie and a pair of black leather loafers with a tie closure.
The royals were pictured in high spirits as they greeted everyone present.
The diplomatic reception usually takes place in the new year, which the couple has done annually since King Felipe came to the throne in 2014.
There are a total of 126 embassies and almost consulates general in Spain, of which 153 are official and more than 600 are honorary.
