Earlier in the day, Jill was left stunned after being crowned Queen Of The Jungle, beating Owen on the pole as he was declared second.

After congratulating the former midfielder on her victory, Mike Tindall took the honor by placing the crown of flowers on Jill’s head as she sat triumphantly on the wooden throne before embracing her fiancé on the bridge.

After her coronation, after 12 million viewers voted, an emotional Jill, bursting into tears, said, “I can’t believe it. I just can’t believe it. I think I owe my grandma a lot of money for the 12 million votes! I don’t think there should be one winner, we are all winners.’

Ahead of her award, Jill said she was happy to sit with her best friend, Owen, after the pair connected during their time on the show.

She said, “If Owen won King of the Jungle or if I won Queen of the Jungle, there’s no one I’d rather sit here with, so today is going to be a great day either way.”

The Lioness said being part of a team throughout her career served her well in life in the jungle.

Happy: Jill was thrilled when she got a flat white as soon as the cameras stopped rolling

Fun: Mike said during his Instagram live that he wanted to show that the behind-the-scenes filming of I’m A Celeb isn’t as glamorous as it seems

“I always say that’s why kids should start playing sports, it’s not about going to the highest level or anything like that. It’s what you learn through sports, winning, losing, hard work, being a good person and you don’t know how you’re going to react to rats and heights, but all those people playing for incredible teams have me well equipped for the jungle, she explained.

She tried to be on her best behavior in the jungle, knowing her family would be watching at home, saying, “I tried to tone it down at first because I was like Jill, you’re live on ITV, your granny watching, your nephews , your niece but then you just forgot you were on a TV show.’

She was the only woman to stay in the camp for eight days, but says she didn’t have to rein in the likes of Matt Hancock and Mike Tindall.

Jill told Ant and Dec, “I never thought about it that way, I didn’t.” They were so welcoming. Obviously, I’m a bit of a tomboy with football anyway. They weren’t like ‘oh, you sit down, and I’ll get the logs’, I still had to get the water, the logs, clean up the dunny. No, I’ve never felt that way.’

She was met at the red bridge by fiancée Shelly Unitt, who gave the champion a big hug after the engaged couple had been apart for over a month.

Jill’s win caps off a memorable year for the star after playing on the winning Euros team this summer.

The Lionesses were crowned champions of 2022 in August when they defeated eight-time champions Germany to secure England’s first trophy since 1966.

Popular: She became a beloved member of the show with comedian Seann Walsh praising her humor and witty one-liners, which he said could earn her a spot on a show like Mock the Week
