Rapper Quavo is mercilessly mocked after only a handful of fans turn up for Connecticut show

The crowd at a recent Quavo concert was the subject of internet trolls and sparked conspiracy theories fueled by its rival for the low attendance.

Video posted to social media shows the rapper performing to an apparently sparse crowd in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on Friday.

The HealthCare Amphitheatre, which seats more than 5,700, appeared nearly empty leading up to the show, with only a few rows of fans lining up in front of the stage.

Fans have theorized that Chris Brown is responsible for the small crowd, claiming he bought tickets to embarrass Quavo.

“Chris Brown bought all the tickets for Quavo’s concert so no one would show up. Man is a threat,” said a fan named Luccent on X.

“Chris Brown is pissed about this, apparently he bought all the tickets to the Quavo concert just to clear the crowd,” Ryan said.

“Chris Brown is a mean and wild man for buying so many seats for Quavo’s concert, but that’s so mean,” Steph said.

Others speculated that Brown could not be responsible because it would make his enemy money.

“What’s the point of this little nonsense? Quavo still made bag. The tickets were paid for so what was the point,” said Usman Shamaki.

“CB definitely wouldn’t be stupid enough to give Quavo money just for an empty photo. This would not be an embarrassment to anyone but him,” said Whitney B.

Brown dropped a new diss track, titled Weakest Link, aimed at rapper Quavo amid their ongoing feud.

The 34-year-old Grammy winner didn’t hold back on the scathing song, in which he even says: ‘RIP Takeoff, he the only real one, I got true respect. Funny how when he died everyone really wished it was you.”

Quavo lambasted Brown earlier this month for his history of domestic violence on his song Tender.

The Migos star came out swinging to his song and rapped, “You did the bitch wrong and now the bitch is gone, she posted with a thug… Call the bitch, she won’t come home, don’t hit her together./It must be the drugs, you have to pull the plug.

‘Tell me, little brother, what’s your problem?/It’s over/You said it’s bigger than that, but no, it’s not/It’s ’cause I’m digging in there, it turned them on/I give respect, but I don’t know you/Your bitch on my neck, your bitch on the spot.’

Brown, who was convicted in 2009 of assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna, 36, took a swipe at Quavo for previously dating ex Karrueche Tran on his 11:11 album.

He said on the track Freak: ‘F***ing my old b*****s ain’t gone, make us equal / Sipping on that 1942 ’cause I don’t do Cuervo [Quavo]/Freak b***h, she likes Casamigos, not the Migos.”

Quavo briefly dated Tran in 2017 — two years after her last divorce from Brown.

Tran previously accused Brown of hitting her, throwing her down a flight of stairs and threatening to kill her — leading to a restraining order issued in 2015.

Their four-year relationship ended after it emerged in March 2015 that he had fathered a daughter, Royalty, with aspiring model Nia Guzman.

Brown and Quavo previously feuded in 2017 when they got into a fight at a BET Awards afterparty — reportedly over Tran.

TMZ reported that Chris’ team made the first move by pushing Quavo, causing their team to intervene, resulting in a brawl.

The Beautiful People hitmaker was reportedly keen to stay away from the drama and simply walked through the melee to get to the car.

TMZ added that police were called, but the fight had broken up before they arrived.

Brown and Quavo sat together at a Paris Fashion Week event earlier this year, but Brown denied that they had resolved their differences.

He wrote: ‘I can’t choose who you sit with. F**k all that growth.”
