A Qantas passenger has been kicked off a flight for swearing at cabin crew after claiming they were rude to his wife and child and made them cry.

The passenger and his family were removed from their Qantas QF44 flight from Denpasar to Sydney on Oct. 20 for crew abuse “a number of times prior to the flight from Bali,” a Qantas spokesperson told the Daily Mail Australia.

The footage, posted to TikTok by @drewalden75, showed an enraged man targeting flight attendants and became increasingly agitated when they told him that security would remove him and his family from the plane.

The man is heard saying to the flight attendant, “Tell them to apologize. I’m telling you now you’re rude, and it’s damn disgusting.”

“They made her cry and she is crying because they were rude to her with a newborn baby to apologize,” the man said.

“Tell them to come and apologize now. It’s so disgusting what they did to her.’

The angry encounter continued to escalate after the visibly agitated man was informed by a flight attendant, the police arrived and proceeded to remove him.

“I’m sorry we can’t take you, the police are here,” the Qantas flight attendant hears the man say.

‘Bring them here, you can force my children out if you want. You’re making my wife cry and now you’re getting mad at me,” the man replied.

‘Sorry, sir, you cursed my crew. Unfortunately we can’t take you with us,’ the flight attendant replied.

“I told you sir, you were cursing my crew.”

“You can’t upset my crew.”

The man, now furious, shouted, “You can’t upset my family and children, what are you talking about, you can’t upset my crew, my wife is crying.”

‘I understand that the customers are not important. Tell security to get you too.’

The flight attendant approached him and asked him to repeat himself, to which he angrily told her “Get out of my face, get out of my face.”

‘Who do you think you are, you’re not the police, why are you talking to me like you’re someone.

“Do you think you’re a prince or something?”

A Qantas spokesperson said cabin crew had followed procedure and travel bans could be imposed when the altercation is reviewed by a panel.

“These passengers were removed from the plane after they abused our crew several times before the flight departed from Bali,” said a Qantas spokesperson.

“The safety of our customers and crew is our number one priority and we do not tolerate abuse of any kind.

“We ask customers to follow crew directions for the safety and comfort of everyone on board.”

The TikTok footage of public opinion as users debated who was wrong.

“He’s right that I would do the same if someone disrespects my family,” one commented.

“Standing up for his family, crew at fault,” wrote a second.

‘I understand his intentions, standing up for a lady. But he should have done it differently,” said another.

“People don’t understand that once you start screaming, you become a flight risk. They can’t leave with you on board,” a fourth remarked.

‘He should file a complaint with customer service; don’t make a whole planeload of people feel uncomfortable,” said another user.
