Putting ‘Awake’ in the pasture: Kari Lake milks a COW at the Iowa State Fair – and says it proves there are two sexes because you can’t do the same with a bull

  • “You know, there are only two sexes, right?” she said
  • She dared reporters to try and milk a bull
  • Kari Lake acted as a Trump surrogate at the Iowa State Fair

Kari Lake milked a cow at the Iowa State Fair on Friday, arguing that the animals prove there are only two sexes — because a bull cannot be milked.

Lake, the Republican who failed to run for governor of Arizona last year, attended the annual event to campaign for Donald Trump.

She stopped by the parlor to push back against what conservatives call “awake” ideas, especially when it comes to one’s gender.

Lake, dressed in jeans and boots, put a stool next to the cow, sat down, and went to work.

“You know, there are only two genders, right?” she said to the many journalists watching her.

“I defy the New York Times reporter and the Washington Post reporter to try to milk a cow and then milk a bull and see how that goes,” she said.

Some conservative Republicans have challenged “transgender” ideas and pushed back on people trying to redefine their gender. The “war on wake” has become a rallying cry for many GOP candidates.

Two Trump supporters holding large placards bearing the former president’s name flanked Lake as she milked the cow.

Lake has been doing the rounds all day at the fair to act as a surrogate for Trump. She visited the famous butter cow and told voters about Trump’s campaign.

The former president will arrive in Des Moines on Saturday to spend a few hours at the fair — a must-stop for presidential candidates.

Trump will be at the fairgrounds on the same day as rivals Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley. The former president plans to bring a posse of Florida lawmakers who endorsed his presidential bid for DeSantis.

He is leading in the polls. He led DeSantis by 17 points in a poll of Republicans in Iowa conducted by GOP polling firm JL Partners for DailyMail.com.

Lake, meanwhile, has said she is considering a Senate bid in her native Arizona.

It will probably be a threesome.
