Putin forces ‘shoot dead team of surrendered Ukrainian drone pilots in their underwear in claim of “horrific new war crime”‘

A team of Ukrainian military drone operators were shot dead by Vladimir Putin’s forces after indulging in a shocking new war crime, it has been claimed.

According to multiple sources, nine unmanned pilots and staff are seen in their underwear after being killed.

The men had been surrounded by Russian forces in the Kursk region and had laid down their weapons, Ukraine’s 1st Separate Tank Brigade said.

It is a war crime to kill prisoners of war, and there is now an alarming warning that such cold-blooded slaughter by Putin’s soldiers is taking place ‘almost daily’.

Ukrainian Telegram channel Deep State said: “It became known from our sources at the 1st Separate Tank Brigade that on October 10, the Russians shot down drone fighters and collaborators near the village of Zeleniy Shlyakh.

“Additional details of the circumstances are being clarified, but it is known that the boys entered the position thinking they were relatively in the rear, but had already been forced to come into contact with the enemy and return fire.

“However, their ammunition was limited and they were forced to surrender.”

Dmytro Lubinets, Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, said: “Information about the possible shooting by the Russians of nine Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Kursk region is once again spreading through social networks.

“Such actions are a gross violation of the Geneva Convention relating to the Treatment of Prisoners of War.”

He sent a letter to the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross

‘about another crime committed by the Russians.

“These actions must not go unpunished and the enemy must bear all responsibility.

“Russia is a terrorist country that violates all rules and customs of war.

“The international community cannot turn a blind eye to such crimes.”

The gruesome aerial photo comes amid alarming analyzes from independent open-source intelligence analysts that Russia’s killing of prisoners of war has become almost routine.

Ruslan Leviev, founder of the Conflict Intelligence Team, warned: “The situation with executions of prisoners of war is becoming almost daily.

‘Before, we couldn’t claim that this was some kind of strategy.

‘You could very well say that these were isolated incidents at the level of individual groups.

‘Materials are now being collected with which we can prove this more convincingly [executions of prisoners by Russian troops] become widespread.’
