Putin says the CIA blew up the Nord Stream pipeline but REFUSES to provide any evidence to back up his claims because it ‘very difficult to defeat the US propaganda machine’

Vladimir Putin claimed that the United States was responsible for the Nord Stream pipeline explosion, but provided no evidence in his interview with Tucker Carlson.

On September 26, 2022, explosions knocked out three of the four sections of the Nord Stream pipelines, effectively destroying the main energy link between Russia and the West.

Russia reportedly believes repairs will cost at least $500 million, but the Kremlin has still not confirmed that the pipes will be repaired. The Nord Stream project consists of two natural gas pipelines under the Baltic Sea that run from Russia to Germany to supply Western Europe with natural gas.

During a two-hour interview with ousted Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Thursday, Putin accused the CIA of blowing up the pipeline.

Carlson asked the Russian president who blew up Nord Stream, to which Putin replied, “You sure know that.”

Carlson then asked if he had any evidence that NATO or the CIA was responsible for the attack, but Putin refused to provide it. “You know, I won’t go into details, but people always say in such cases: look for someone who is interested,” Putin said

‘I was busy that day. I didn’t blow up Nord Stream. But thanks,” Carlson joked.

Putin said: ‘You personally may have an alibi, but the CIA has no such alibi.’

Carlson then asked if he had any evidence that NATO or the CIA was responsible for the attack, but Putin refused to provide it.

“You know, I won’t go into details, but people always say in such cases: look for someone who is interested,” Putin said.

“But in this case we have to look not only for someone who is interested, but also for someone who is capable, because many people may be interested, but not all of them are able to go to the bottom of the Baltic Sea to sink and carry out this explosion.’

‘These two components must be connected. Who is interested and who is capable of doing so,” the Russian president said.

The US government has firmly denied claims of involvement in the attack on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines.

Tucker urged Putin: “If you had evidence and probably gave it to your security services or Intel services, would you think that NATO, the US, the CIA and the West would do this. Why not present that and achieve a propaganda victory?’

The President of Russia said: “In the propaganda war it is very difficult to beat the United States, because the United States controls all the media in the world and many European media.”

‘The ultimate beneficiaries of the largest European media are American financial institutions. Do not you know that? So it is possible to get involved in this work, but the costs are prohibitive, so to speak.”

“We can simply spotlight our sources of information and we won’t get results. It is clear to the whole world what happened then. Even American analysts are talking about it directly. It’s true,” he said.

Blame for the attack was initially placed on the US, Russia, Ukrainian secret services and an unnamed businessman in Ukraine. All three countries have vehemently denied responsibility.

A convoy of six Russian naval vessels was reportedly spotted near the Nord Stream pipeline just five days before it was sabotaged.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was deliberately left out, according to a CIA report shared by Jack Teixeira, a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard, on the Discord chat platform.

A report by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh claimed that the US was responsible for the attacks on the Nord Stream pipeline. Navy divers claimed they planted the explosives in June, using NATO exercises as cover. They were then detonated remotely in September, it is claimed.

Navy divers claimed they planted the explosives in June, using NATO exercises as cover. They were then detonated remotely in September, it is claimed. The White House and CIA have flatly denied the report.

Russia was also accused of carrying out the Nord Stream gas explosions. Explanations range from divers to spy submarines and underwater drones, with the possible motive being to cripple Europe's energy supply in winter.

Teixeira, 21, was arrested in April for leaking the material and is being tried for sharing national secrets.

According to his document, the CIA reported: “All those involved in the planning and execution reported directly to (defense chief) Zaluzhny, so Zelensky would not have known about it.”

Other sources have reported that Roman Chervinsky, a colonel in Ukraine’s special operations forces, was behind it, but Zelensky did not know.

Pulitzer journalist Seymour Hersh theorized that U.S. Navy divers planted C4 explosives on three Nord Stream pipelines in June 2022, which were detonated three months later using a sonar buoy that sent out a signal that activated the bombs.

The White House has repeatedly denied this claim as “completely false and complete fiction.”
