‘Putin is a d**khead’: Televisions are hacked across Crimea to display message mocking Vladimir and a speech by Zelensky declaring Russia will be defeated

Televisions in Crimea were hacked by Ukraine to show a message mocking Putin, while residents also heard Zelensky promising to defeat Russia by expelling the country from the occupied Black Sea peninsula.

Screens also showed multiple messages declaring: “Putin is ad**khead.”

Viewers also saw a message promising to return Crimea to Ukraine from the head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, Lt. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov, 37, whose wife Marianna was poisoned with arsenic and mercury in a suspected Russian sting this week.

In the hack, viewers saw Zelensky say: “I would like to say separately to all our people in Crimea, in Sevastopol, in all occupied regions in the south and east of our state, which are currently occupied regions.

“Dear Ukrainians, you all feel that the Russian presence on our country will not last forever. I know this.

“Ukraine will return its territory, our people. We leave no one to the occupiers.’

Budanov said – like Zelensky in Ukrainian –: ‘Crimea will be returned. Crimea is ours.

‘There should be no Russia. It’s ours and no one else’s.’

The hack of digital TV services was admitted by Oleg Kryuchkov, an official of the Putin-appointed regime that runs the peninsula’s government.

“Several internet providers in Crimea have been hacked by the enemy,” he said.

‘Technical services are working on this.

“All issues will be resolved in the near future.”

He blamed the Center for Information and Psychological Special Operations in Kiev for the hack.

A separate hack hit the Putin-appointed government of Donetsk, another annexed region.

Residents were told that the 16-year-old son of Ramzan Kadyrov had been made an honorary citizen of Donetsk.

He had “made an important personal contribution to the development of cultural relations between the cities of Donetsk and Grozny,” the fictitious announcement said.
