Vladimir Putin’s commanders are forcing their conscripted soldiers at gunpoint to stay on the front lines.
They are using a brutal Stalin tactic to prevent Russian reserve troops from abandoning their positions, say men who have seen the horror of the death camps as cannon fodder.
“People are left in the trenches like they are homeless and full of corpses,” Russian reservist recruits complained in a new video that appeals directly to Vladimir Putin.
“Withdrawal blockade detachments were placed against us and did not let us out of our positions.”

They appeal to Putin in the hope that his revelations will surprise him; however, all the evidence is that he approves of these ‘meat grinder’ tactics.

The men make it clear that they have a grotesque choice: stay on the front lines and have a slim chance of survival, or withdraw and face a bullet to the head (murder) from their fellow Russians in the “retreat blocking detachments”. from Putin.
‘Now [we] they are not allowed to go anywhere, they promise to humiliate us.

‘In fact, this is not true… There are very, very big losses here.
“We sat under open mortar and artillery fire for 14 days. We suffered enormous losses, 34 wounded, 22 dead. Our company commander was killed.
They complained that they were faced with well-equipped Ukrainian troops with machine guns, mortars and tanks with little means to respond.
The men, who appear to be from Kaliningrad, blamed their brigade deputy commander, named Colonel Ilya Ivanov, for “giving criminal orders” and said that at gunpoint “he did not put us out of position.”

This is the latest in a growing number of pleas for help from desperate Russian soldiers on the front lines.
It confirms the brutality of Putin’s 19th-century warfare tactics: using men “as meat” to hold positions no matter how heavy the losses, then replacing the dead with new recruits as the recruits are maimed or murdered.
In a video leaked to ASTRA media, the desperate soldiers say they have never seen their senior commanders wide-eyed or seen “official orders”.
“The leadership of the 5th brigade is a criminal gang, there are no other ways to describe them,” says one of the men.
His frontline presence is not officially registered.

This school is in the Baltic region, far from the corpse-strewn trenches of Russian-occupied Ukraine.
