The additional Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals may require up to Rs 14,000 cr of private financing
The Ministry of Railways plans to offer another 200 Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals (GCTs) to companies and freight forwarders for their rail-based supply chains, buoyed by the responses received so far, a senior government official told Business Standard. According to estimates, the 200 terminals will require around Rs 12,000-14,000 crore private investment.
