A needy cat who saw his owner come home left her stunned after running to the car and promptly hopping in for a ride.
In one hilarious clip, Zazu the cat is seen running down a suburban street, presumably in Hampshire, clearly ecstatic to be reunited after a short time apart.
“Like he can’t even wait for me to pull into the driveway today,” says Zazu’s owner Jess, who shared the video on her TikTok account, one is heard saying, adding: ‘This cat takes the p***.’
When Zazu reaches the car, the owner opens the door and the cat jumps in for the rest of the ride home.
The adorable video has had people on social media in hysterics, with many sharing stories of their own equally needy cats.

During the video, Jess says to Zazu, “I just came here to turn around, are you having a laugh buddy?”
Zazu then heads to the car and Jess opens the door and asks, “You’re getting in, huh?”
The white and ginger fluffy cat then lets out another almighty whimper as he seemingly decides whether or not to jump in.
“Are you going in or not?” Jess asks him again, before finally deciding to jump into the vehicle.
Zazu climbs over Jess before jumping into the passenger seat and exploring the car’s legroom.
“Make it easy on yourself Zazu,” Jess says of her confident cat. ‘Absolute p*** taker.’
Jess regularly shares videos of Zazu on her TikTok modern_motherhood, as well as clips of her daughter Nylah.

Someone else said her cat sat in the middle of the road and didn’t let any cars pass. “I had to go out and pick him up and apologize,” she added.
