Puppy love? Woman’s first date turns to horror as man steals her dog at gun point: ‘I thought I was going to die’

A Georgia woman who thought she was going on a first date with her dog took a horrific turn after she found herself at gunpoint when the man demanded she hand over her pet.

Allysha Green had only recently moved to Atlanta when she decided to explore the local dating scene.

After being given a residential address to meet outside a townhome in southwest Atlanta, things suddenly took a drastic turn.

Green had been given an address that didn’t exist and was on a dead end, giving her a seat for what was to come.

Her dog, named Kenji, a three-month-old Cane Corso puppy, was snatched from her in what appears to have been a carefully orchestrated criminal plan to rob her.

A Georgia woman on a first date with her dog took a horrific turn after the man demanded she hand over her pet, Kenji.

She is now praying that the community will help her find her stolen puppy.

‘He’s super sweet. He doesn’t go anywhere without me, and I don’t go anywhere without him,” Green shared 11Alive about her dog as she talked about the evening.

Early that evening, something felt strange when she discovered that the address she had been given did not exist.

When he called the man she was supposed to meet, he said he would walk over and be there in a few minutes.

“He even said to me, ‘It’s okay to bring your puppy, it’s fine,’” Greene said WXIA.

‘He walked towards me, as if he were having a very quick conversation; “Hey, how are you? Your dog is cute,” she continued.

But then things suddenly turned ugly when the man, named “Trey,” pulled out a gun without warning.

“He petted him and pulled the gun on me. I was shocked and literally thought I was going to die,” Greene said.

The man, who was in his 20s, told her not to make any sudden movements.

“Don’t scream, don’t move, just do what we tell you and you can live,” the man said, Greene recalled.

As soon as the man said ‘we’, a second man suddenly came from behind a car who was also armed.

“I told them I had no money,” Greene explained.

Not believing her, the men searched her car for any cash she might have – and then decided to access her phone looking for banking apps to steal cash.

“The second guy made me open my money app on my phone to see if he could send money to himself.”

After realizing they wouldn’t get anything from her, attention turned to her little dog.

“He walked up to me, grabbed my leash and said let the dog loose because you have no money, you just lost your dog,” she said.

To make matters worse, the men then took her phone, meaning she could no longer call for help after the terrifying ordeal.

As the men escaped, they told her not to look around, but she did see one of them hand her beloved dog over a fence.

Greene has since filed a report with the Atlanta Police Department, who are now investigating.
