A post-second division basketball game handshake line ended in a wild brawl between fans and both teams in Puerto Rico on Wednesday night.

Players from the Salinas Dolphins and Adjuntas Suns were lining up to shake hands seconds after the final buzzer when Adjuntas’ Javier Torres punched one of the Salinas players in the face.

It seemed as if quick words were exchanged just before Torres landed a right hand on the Salinas player and sent him to the ground.

Torres was carried away by one of his teammates, while another tried to play peacemaker as the Salinas players tried to stop the attacked player from running after Torres.

The fight escalated when the player who was hit by Torres broke away from his teammates and ran towards a Suns player and fell to the ground.

Fans could be seen running around the court as players from both teams traded blows.
