Who is ‘Photobooth Phil’? Framed snaps of a mystery man are found stashed around Bath pubs
Pub staff are baffled after finding framed photos of a mystery man scattered around the venue.
Workers at the Boom Battle Bar in Bath were left scratching their heads when they found a photo of an unknown man hidden randomly in their pub.
They became even more confused when they started an ‘investigation’ on the second print.
After a desperate appeal on social media, asking the public and customers for help, the mystery was slowly unraveled. It turned out that it all had to do with a bachelor party.
Jenna Sharp, 21, took matters into her own hands and filmed a video asking, “If you’re not the one leaving picture frames of random men in our location, please scroll down.”

Fans speculated about who the mystery man was
She held up two photos, one of a man sitting cross-legged in fitness gear and the other of a man eating. She added, “Who’s this? I just found a second photo of what we used to call Photobooth Phil.
“We still have no idea who this is. We just found this guy. If there are any more photos in our location that aren’t Photobooth Phil or Floor Phil, please let me know.”
She then challenged her audience.
“If you’re the one leaving picture frames at our location and there are only two of them, I challenge you to leave one more.”
And pointing to the back of one of the frames, she added, “Leave something on the back this time, because we want something.”
‘Just whatever.’
The funny video was posted last month and got 12,000 likes, dozens of comments and shares. Many people were impressed by the situation.

Someone else said, “We must protect him at all costs.”
A third user commented: ‘Maybe he’s single and showing himself but not leaving any traces or is there a way to track him down.’
A fourth follower added: ‘Photobooth Phil’s kitchen in the background looks exactly like the kitchens they put in the Riverside development.’

Jenna said: ‘We have a memorabilia wall behind our reception. One of the staff went to take a photo that was on the wall and I saw something – the first photo taken in our photo booth, hence the name Photobooth Phil.
‘We do a lot of stag parties. A stag party came along and brought a bunch of stag party photos and spread them around the bar. And we weren’t the only pub.
‘After I posted the video, several other locations and even security guards responded.
‘A security lady explained the story: when she searched her bag, she saw all the photos – there were about 20 of them in total.
‘She and another security guard are having a competition about what’s the most interesting thing they can find on a Saturday night.’
