Randal Kolo Muani informed Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday about his absence from training ahead of the Europa Conference League play-off as he tries to force a move to PSG.
The French attacker had a fruitful first season in the Bundesliga. He scored 15 times in 32 appearances and finished third in the league’s scoring charts. He emerged as a target for the Parisian this summer.
The German club remained adamant that the 24-year-old would remain at the club unless Luis Enrique’s side lived up to their expectations. Valuation of £86 million.
That message was repeated in a statement from Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche, who insisted that the striker’s actions would not affect their position.
“This isn’t the Randal we’ve come to know and we know his real character.” He said. “He is currently being bombed and the result is this reaction, which is wrong, as we have made clear to him and his entourage, with all the consequences.

“We will play the match against Levski Sofia without him. It is clear to us: this behavior does not affect the transfer activities.
“What counts now is the important game against Sofia. That has the highest priority and is of great importance to the club. Our team has a high level of quality and is fully focused on tomorrow’s game.’
Muani transferred from Nantes to Frankfurt on a free transfer last summer and soon received his first international call-up.
Didier Deschamps named Muani part of his squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and the striker scored in France’s semi-final against Morocco before scoring in the penalty shootout in their latest loss to Argentina.
Muani’s solid form caught the eye of Erik ten Hag last season, with Manchester United considering a move for him before turning to one for Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund.
