Paris Saint-Germain is being linked with a surprising move for its former boss Thomas Tuchel.
The French champions have been frustrated with current boss Christophe Galtier and the sight of sporting director Luis Campos on the touchline for their impressive 4-3 win over Lille has underscored the pressure the Frenchman is under.
This has prompted PSG to probe a possible return for Tuchel, who they sacked on Christmas Eve 2020, four months after he guided them to the Champions League final.
According to the evening standardPSG would be willing to admit their mistake in leaving him just over two years ago for Mauricio Pochettino, with the German set to return to management.
However, the report states that Tuchel will need to be convinced if he is to make an emphatic return to the Parc des Princes.

This time, he would no longer be dealing with former sports director Leonardo, with whom he fell out, and would instead be working alongside Campos.
The Evening Standard also reports that the former Chelsea boss would want assurances the club would protect him against player power, while he only wants to focus on training, leaving transfers to the club.
Tuchel has been out of a job since Chelsea sacked him last September and has been searching for a club that is ready to challenge for titles in one of Europe’s top five leagues.
A return to Stamford Bridge to replace Graham Potter is being labeled ‘impossible’ with the English boss backed by Blues chairman Todd Boehly.
In his three years at PSG, Tuchel won two consecutive Ligue 1 titles, the Coupe de France, the Coupe de la Ligue and the Trophee des Champions.
He took charge of 127 games and won 95 of them, giving him an impressive 74 percent win rate as a boss.
