Christophe Galtier lashed out at the media on Friday when questions were asked about Kylian Mbappe’s future at PSG rather than the club’s impending clash with Marseille.
It comes after rumors have surfaced that the striker is looking to leave Paris in January, despite signing a lucrative contract just four months ago.
The PSG boss has previously dismissed this, but clearly felt it was necessary to tackle what has become a constant distraction.

He started with Mbappe’s recent performance in a 1-1 draw with Benfica. He said, ‘I’m not here to talk about rumours. There was a rumor that came out the afternoon of a match. Kylian has an answer, the most beautiful answer.
“In a match that was not of a very high standard, I think he was voted man of the match, he performed well, generous to the team and very supportive.”
The manager continued: “Instead of talking about the performance, it’s clear that you… [the media] are talking about something else.

“That’s right, but at some point, if you ask me questions, I’ll answer you honestly.
“I have players who have immersed themselves very quickly in the preparation for the match against Marseille since the Champions League game, the game that everyone in the French league has been waiting for.”
It looks set to be a big game in the early title race, with Marseille currently three points behind leaders PSG in third place.
