Carys was quick to comment as she wrote, “I had the best time with you daddy.”

Fans flocked to the comments section to admire the wholesome reunion. One fan commented: “Amazing father-daughter photo!”

Another addition from Carys, whose mother is Catherine Zeta Jones: “Carys looks like a mix of both of you. Beautiful girl’.

Acting is a prominent part of Michael’s family background; he is the son of legendary actor Kirk Douglas and actress Diana Dill.

The star has been married twice. His first marriage was to Diandra Luker in 1977, with whom he has one son, Cameron Douglas, 45. Michael and Diandra divorced in 2000.

In 2000 he married Welsh actress Catherine. They have two children together: Dylan Michael Douglas, 24, and Carys, 21.

Cameron himself is an actor and even starred opposite his father in the 2003 film It Runs In The Family.

Although Dylan has a short IMDb resume, he’s still in the spotlight: he hosts Young American with Dylan Douglas, a “Gen Z-powered political talk show.”

Cary’s IMDb has only four credits to date, but her work includes the short film Shell and working as a second assistant director on the short film August.

Her latest film, another short called F*ck That Guy, went to the PROOF Film Festival in Los Angeles and saw Spike Lee serve as executive producer.

In 2021, Catherine revealed that both Carys and Dylan are determined to pursue acting.

Catherine said on The Drew Barrymore Show: ‘Their love for the profession of acting is so strong that even if their brains are occupied with politics and history at school, their passion is for acting.

“And they’ve never done anything professionally, but they’d like to act.”

Carys has even been warned by her father that if she pursues a career in Hollywood, she will always be called “the daughter of.”

The mother of two said, “Basically you have to prove yourself more, so even with that deterrent, my kids are like, ‘No, sorry, we still want to do it.’
