Protester breaks through Trump security barricade – as fears grow over how well Secret Service can protect him

A protester managed to breach security barricades as Donald Trump visited a barbershop in New York City amid fears about how well the Secret Service can protect him.

The unidentified man managed to cycle past barricades set up by local law enforcement and Secret Service as Trump appeared in the Bronx.

As the man cycles past the barbershop, he can be heard shouting “Free Palestine” while waving what appears to be a Palestinian flag.

Then he stops on a sidewalk and adds, “Year after year after year. Tired of this shit. USA, IDF, KKK.’ He also tries to light a flag on fire, but his lighter fails.

The man is then detained by police officers while he is questioned by bystanders about how he managed to get past the barricades.

The man is then arrested by police officers while he is questioned by bystanders about how he managed to get past the barricades.

As he is led away, he adds: ‘F*** you all!’, as he then begins shouting in the face of the officers arresting him.

He then adds, “Nobody should be doing this, you’re all out of order. International Court of Justice. As-salamu alaykum.’

Ahead of the visit, a large security detail, including a large white tent, was set up outside the King of Knockouts barbershop.

According to News12barbers at the shop read “Make Barbers Great Again” before the former president visited the establishment.

The security breach comes after an independent panel investigating Trump’s attempted assassination said the Secret Service needs “fundamental reforms.”

A report released Thursday accused the Secret Service of poor communications that day and failing to secure the building from which the shooter fired.

The 52-page findings also noted systemic problems within the agency, such as a failure to understand the risks Trump faces and a culture of “doing more with less.”

It warned that ‘Butler can and will happen again’ unless drastic changes are made to the way candidates are protected.

Thomas Matthew Crooks managed to climb onto a roof of a nearby building during Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and injured the former president.

One protester was killed and two others were injured during the attempt on Trump’s life in July.

Just two months later, on September 15, Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was arrested in Florida as he fled the scene after a Secret Service agent shot at him.

Routh allegedly pointed a gun at Trump while he was playing golf at his club in West Palm Beach.

It took only moments for the former president’s security officers to see the barrel of the gun and deter a second assassination attempt.

The report from a panel of four former state and national law enforcement officers comes after investigations by the agency’s own investigators and by Homeland Security’s oversight agency.

In a statement on Thursday, the agency’s acting director Ronald Rowe said: “We have already significantly improved our readiness, operational and organizational communications and implemented enhanced protection operations for the former president and other protected persons.”

The agency said it is exploring ways to retain staff, modernize technology and strengthen training, and is working with Congress to increase funding.

Last weekend, Vem Miller, 49, was taken into custody after he was stopped at a Trump campaign rally in Coachella where he was found to be carrying weapons.

He allegedly presented false VIP credentials and was found to be illegally in possession of a shotgun, a loaded pistol and a high-capacity magazine in his vehicle.

Local law enforcement officials said the incident was “likely” a third attempt on his life, but a source close to the Trump campaign downplayed the threat to DailyMail.com.

“There was no assassination attempt in California yesterday,” the source told DailyMail.com. “A man at a perimeter checkpoint had a gun, but there was no incident.”
