Prosecutors ‘are planning to DROP the charges against Scottie Scheffler early next week’ – after world No 1’s shocking arrest at PGA Championship

Scottie Scheffler is looking increasingly likely to be released without punishment after his arrest at the PGA Championship stunned the world on Friday morning.

Scheffler was pushed against a police car and thrown into a cell after a “major misunderstanding” outside Valhalla, when he tried to enter the premises and ended up “dragging a police officer ten meters” with his car.

However, it is now being reported that Scheffler will have the charges against him dropped. The world number 1 will be charged on Tuesday morning.
