Before welcoming her daughter, the professional athlete shared insight on how she stays fit during her pregnancy while enjoying a home workout.
The pro surfing legend, who lost her arm in a horrific shark attack in 2003, showed off her blossoming belly as she shared a video of the workout on Instagram.
Wearing a yellow patterned sports bra and shorts, the sportswoman performed a number of moves including dumbbell lunges, walking side squats and TRX training moves.
Bethany explained that during her term she “trys to move when I can” and shared that she finds it hard to “slow down” due to her athletic nature.
‘Workin’ my body and mind. Not in a great flow here, but I’ll get there,” she captioned one of the training clips.
Bethany shared a video montage of her workout and exercise with husband Adam.
She threw a barbell in the air as she performed jumps and lunges — among a slew of other moves.

Bethany gave a pregnancy update to her 2.1 million followers in the caption, explaining that she’s getting into the exercise before she goes into labor and taking some time off.
She wrote, “It feels like the countdown has begun!!! Just over two months to go before the baby arrives! I try to move when I can because I feel so good during and after. Plus, I want to surf strong with my kids in the long run!
“After the baby is born, I usually take it really easy for the long-term health of my body so I can just enjoy myself and focus on the baby. The life of a newborn has never felt easy to me, breastfeeding is a lot and all I can say is that my newborns were not “easy going” so it requires complete focus and calmness. I’m not complaining, I’m just sharing my journey!
Adding: “I will say that as an athletically driven human being it is hard to slow down and let my body rest. But I know it’s good for me… and I choose to do it! Here’s some advice from me – Wherever we are in life – Movement fuels more movement – so take the time to move and do something you enjoy! It is good for you! And rest when you need it!’
Bethany announced her pregnancy last month and shared a video as the family of five enjoyed a day of surfing on the water.
The surfer is best known for a shark attack at the age of 13 that nearly derailed her career.
In 2003, while surfing off the coast of Kauai with a friend’s family, a 13-foot tiger shark bit off her left arm just below the shoulder.
The others were able to swim her back to shore and put a tourniquet on her, but she had already lost 60 percent of her blood by the time she got to the hospital.

A tiger shark caught and killed shortly after the attack had pieces of a surfboard lodged in its jaws and was later determined to be the attacking shark.
Despite her devastating injury, Bethany took less than a month to recover before returning to surfing, and had her first professional match after the attack in 2004.
In addition to continuing to surf, the athlete has written multiple books, several of which focus on her devout Christian faith.
On the same day she shared the news of her pregnancy, she posted a black and white photo of herself and Adam, whom she married in 2013.
‘I choose him every day. I believe that love can be a choice beyond just ‘feeling in love,'” she wrote.
“The beauty that our marriage has become was worth all the boundaries, which can be considered sacrifices, that I set before getting married during the dating period. And even today, the daily commitment is an ongoing journey,” she continued, before adding a conviction of premarital sex and abortion.
