Pro-Palestinian protesters attacked Secretary of State Antony Blinken with “fake blood” outside his suburban Virginia home on Thursday.
Activists surrounded his SUV as it rolled through the gate of his McClean home, spilling red paint on the driveway as he left for work.
The demonstrators shouted “shame on you” and “war criminal” and told the US to stop the Gaza “genocide”.
The stunt is the latest sign of anger against the Biden administration's relationship with Israel as the civilian death toll rises.
Biden is even facing a revolt from his own staff after a top Biden Education official resigned from the White House “and turned a blind eye to atrocities.”

The group of protesters lined the streets outside Blinken's home with banners and signs demanding an end to “collective punishment” of Palestinians.
This is at least the second time Blinken's house has seen protesters outside.
The Palestinian Youth Movement brought fifteen people to his speech to demand that the US stop sending aid to Israel.
In October, Blinken's testimony before Congress was interrupted by members of the public drenched in fake blood.
The chaos led to at least a dozen arrests, and the secretary of state's remarks were interrupted several times as Capitol police officers dragged protesters outside.
Blinken has been to Israel and the Middle East several times since the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack that killed thousands of people.
In recent weeks, the White House has urged Benjamin Netanyahu's government to come up with a plan to reduce the intensity of the invasion of Gaza.
