During an accompanying interview, Priyanka will discuss her new projects, become a mother and reach her 40s – after two decades of a career in Bollywood and Hollywood.

She recently shared how busy she’s been lately promoting her two newest roles: the spy action thriller series Citadel and the movie Love Again.

Both of her new projects have only just premiered in the past few weeks, so she had to focus some of her attention on the promotion.

She said her priorities have shifted since she finished those roles leading up to the arrival of Malti, her and husband Nick Jonas’ daughter, via surrogate, in January 2022.

“If I were asked to give up my career and just move to another country, I would definitely do it for my daughter,” the actress said in a new interview with Femina.

As a first-time mother, Chopra now understands the love between a parent and a child, and as a result sees her career differently as she has a one-year-old waiting for her at home.

‘I want to go back home. On time,” she said in reference to her long hours on set. “I’ll finish my work real quick and then I’ll be home.”

Indian-born Jamshedpur, Bihar (present-day Jharkhand) made it a point to make it clear that despite shifting her top priority to her baby daughter, it doesn’t mean she isn’t still committed to her work.
