Priyanka Chopra revealed that on Thursday’s episode The Jennifer Hudson Show that her husband, Nick Jonas, saw her win the 2000 Miss World pageant.

The 40-year-old actress told the show’s host that she was shocked to discover that her husband, 30, had seen her win the competition, which she entered just after she turned 18.

The artist, who recently spoke about how she didn’t “care” about her husband’s exes, told the singer she thought the revelation was “unfathomable” at first before feeling amused by the whole situation.

Chopra began speaking about entering the Miss World pageant, saying she was not prepared for what the title would mean for her future.

The Citadel star then recalled that years after she took home the title of Miss World, her mother-in-law revealed that her husband watched as she won the pageant.

The performer stated, “She said, ‘I remember this clearly because Kevin Sr., my father-in-law, “likes to watch pageants. And I remember him watching it and Nick coming and sitting down and watching you win.” “

Chopra went on to comment on the improbability of her husband seeing his future wife on television at the time.

The Quantico star and the musician first met when the latter messaged her on Twitter in 2016.

The couple began dating in May 2018, and they tied the knot later that year in a lavish multi-day wedding ceremony that took place in her native India.

Chopra and her husband chose to keep their daughter’s name private for several months, though they finally revealed it to the public last April.
