A new trailer for the film Love Again starring Priyanka Chopra, Sam Heughan and Celine Dion in their big screen debut.
In the upcoming film, Priyanka and Sam’s characters make an unexpected romantic pairing with a prod from the 54-year-old Canadian singer.
The feature comes from writer-director James C. Strouse and stars Chopra, 40, as Mira and Heughan, 42, as Rob.
The two hook up after Mira sends longing messages to her late fiancé’s old phone number, which turns out to be Rob’s current number.
And there’s also a cameo from Priyanka’s husband, Nick Jonas.

An official synopsis from Sony Pictures Releasing notes that the protagonist sent the text messages “unaware that the number was reassigned to Rob Burns’ new work phone.”
“As a journalist, Rob is captivated by the honesty of the beautiful confessional texts,” it reads.
“When assigned to write a profile of megastar Céline Dion, he enlists her help to figure out how to meet Mira in person…and win her heart.”
The trailer opens with Mira sitting in a one-on-one meeting with a colleague and feeling devastated about life.
Talking about their jobs as a children’s book producer, she tells her counterpart, ‘Maybe it’s better to prepare them, life will inevitably crush their hopes and dreams.’
Then the viewer is made aware of the fact that Mira is grieving the death of her boyfriend.
A friend asks: ‘How are you doing?’ and Chopra Jonas responds: ‘You know. I’m just wearing my dead boyfriend’s shirt and texting his old number.
Next, Rob is introduced when a co-worker accidentally presents him with a work phone. From there, the texts start pouring in, with the first one saying, ‘I miss you so much. There is a pain inside of me.

At a press conference, in which Dion plays herself, Rob asks, “Do you really believe all this stuff you sing about?”
Cool and confident, the seasoned singer coldly replies, “You obviously don’t know anything about it,” prompting Rob to ask, “What?” before she replies, ‘Love.’
Scenes showing various text messages give more context with passages like, “It’s been two years since you passed away and I still can’t believe it.”
Another says, “Every morning I open my eyes hoping I’ll still see you,” as an old photo of Mira and her late boyfriend appears.
The trailer even sees an appearance from Priyanka’s husband, Nick Jonas, who appears as a potential love interest for Mira as her friends encourage her to start dating again.
Things escalate when Rob says during a voiceover, “I think I might have feelings for someone I’ve never met.”
“It can be crazy, but love doesn’t always follow the rules,” Celine coaches Rob in a scene.
The stakes are raised when Mira sends Rob an opportunity-introductory message that reads, ‘Remember that yellow dress? I’ll take him to the opera tonight.

Insisting, “I just need to put a face to these texts,” Rob decides to attend the performance in the hope of meeting his accidental pen pal.
Backed by the soulful piano notes of Celine’s 1996 hit It’s All Coming Back to Me Now, the trailer climaxes as Mira and Rob finally come face to face.
‘I know you?’ Mira asks as she stands in front of a brightly lit staircase before Rob replies suspensefully, “I’m not sure.”
They plan a date without Rob revealing himself as the person who’s been getting their sweet stuff.
Later, his phone vibrates with another note from Mira that reads, “Met someone interesting at the opera tonight.”
As they begin to fall in love, the lovestruck protagonist has to find a way to come clean.
You have to tell him the truth. You should have told him something right away, ”his coworker tells him.

The new movie will also come with new songs from the decades-old performer.
He told the magazine, “I think it’s a wonderful feel-good story, and I hope people like it and like the new songs as well.”
Priyanka chimed in on the tunes, saying, “I think having new music from her is such a blessing in this movie.”
