Priscilla Presley ‘denies she’s battling granddaughter Riley Keough over daughter Lisa Marie’s will’

Priscilla Presley has reportedly denied fighting with granddaughter Riley Keough over the will of late daughter Lisa Marie.

According to The mirror Elvis Presley’s 77-year-old ex-wife, told an audience in Newcastle during her UK tour that she and her grandchildren are ‘fine’.

Speaking on stage, she told ‘Evening with Priscilla Presley’ host Edith Bowman that the rumors were ‘out of [hometown] Memphis’ but were ‘not true’.

Lisa Marie sadly passed away in January at the age of 54 from cardiac arrest.

The dispute with Priscilla stemmed from both Keough, 33, and her brother Benjamin – the grandchildren of the late Elvis Presley and children of the late Lisa Marie Presley – being appointed trustees of Lisa Marie’s estate in 2016, after she was sole trustee for years.

Two weeks after Lisa Marie’s (center) death in January, Priscilla (left) filed paperwork against a 2016 amendment to her daughter’s will, removing Priscilla and Lisa Marie’s former business manager, Barry Siegel, as co-trustees and Riley (right) and her brother, Benjamin Keough, as the new co-trustees

Benjamin died by suicide in 2020 meaning the fortune now belongs to Keough. Priscilla is fighting the 2016 amendment and has questioned the authenticity of her late daughter’s signatures on the document.

Lisa Marie’s half-brother Navarone Garcia, 36, confirmed that his mother Priscilla and niece Riley had been out to dinner in an attempt to reconnect.

Asked directly on Instagram if the pair are in talks, he insisted, “Yeah, they’re fine. No feud, we did have dinner, it went fine, it’s all good.’

The family animosity continued in a Los Angeles court when Lisa Marie’s ex-husband Michael Lockwood, 61, was awarded full custody of their twins Harper and Finley, 14, following her death.

Lockwood had been involved in a contentious custody battle with Lisa Marie for seven years, whose side Riley sided with because she was upset that she was losing time with her half-sisters to him.

Priscilla has been receptive to Lockwood amid recent developments as she tries to “be a part of her grandchildren’s lives,” a source told me. People last month.

Lisa Marie, who was a singer-songwriter with three studio albums between 2003 and 2012, had attended the 80th Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles with her mother just two days before her passing.

The mother and daughter duo made it a point to be at the awards ceremony in a show of support for Baz Luhrmann’s critically acclaimed biopic Elvis (2022) starring Austin Butler as the legendary King Of Rock And Roll, Elvis Presley.

Supportive: Both Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley attended the 80th Golden Globes two days before her death, in a show of support for the critically acclaimed biopic of Elvis (2022) and director and co-writer Baz Luhrmann and star Austin Butler, who played Elvis Presley

As she walked the red carpet of the event, Lisa Marie looked frail and frail, which led her to lean on longtime friend of the family, Jerry Schilling, who is now 81 years old.

While being interviewed by Billy Bush for Extra, she clasped arms with Schilling and told him, “I’m going to grab your arm.”

Both ladies were very open and honest in their praise of Luhrmann’s biopic, which focused on Elvis’ 20+ year relationship with his manager Colonel Tom Parker, and Butler’s performance as Elvis.

Ten days after her death, hundreds of people attended a public memorial at Graceland in Memphis on January 22, and more than 1.5 million people also watched the service via live stream.
