The “Princess Zelda Kidnapped?!” side adventure starts at the Dueling peaks stable to the west of Necluda. Penn is a bit hard to find when you arrive.

It’s at the very top of the roof. Talk to him to get the “Princess Zelda Kidnapped?!” they adventure. He will inform you that the Yiga Clan has sent a note to the Lucky Clover Gazette saying, “We have taken Zelda to the carved heart of the towering twins!” The “towering twin” refers to the nearby Dueling Peaks, and the “cut-out heart” is a location near the southern twin’s peak.

From the stable, head southwest and all the way to the top of the Dueling Peaks. You look for the saddle in the top of the southern twin by coordinates (1321, -1958, 0304) — you can see the exact location on the map above. When you get there, you’ll see “Princess Zelda” in a cage, but since it’s the Yiga Clan, this one is (yet) banana-scented. Use Ultrahand to lift it, and then… battle the three Yiga assassins to “Princess Zelda Kidnapped?!”

The best way to deal with it (especially since you’re fighting three at a time) is to wait for an attack Backflip (or sidestep) or Perfect guard.

  • When a Yiga flips backward away from you, they will run forward and slash. Hold up your shield with ZL and press A just before they get to you. Time it right, and your Perfect Guard will momentarily stun them.
  • When they stand up and disappear in a touch of magic, they fall right down on you. Move back a bit so they land right in front of you and then attack. If you’re really confident you can time a Backflip just before they appear and cause a Flurry Rush.
