Princess Sofia of Sweden shows off her blossoming baby bump as she attends World Children’s Day event
Princess Sofia of Sweden showed off her baby bump in a fashionable outfit today during an event in honor of World Children’s Day.
The 39-year-old wife of Prince Carl Philip looked chic but comfortable as she arrived in the Swedish city of Uppsala on Tuesday to attend a roundtable discussion.
Looking effortlessly elegant, Sofia wore a black top that showed off her baby bump, paired with matching pants and a stylish beige scarf draped around her shoulders.
She wore her thick brunette locks down to her shoulders, with large waves framing her radiant face.
Proving she’s one of the most glamorous European royals, Sofia wore a full face of makeup with a strong base, blushed cheeks and a smoky eye. She completed the glam look with a rose pink lipstick.
The Swedish royal looked as sharp as her impeccably applied eyeliner with burgundy painted nails and well-matched gold jewelry.
Dressed for pregnancy, Sofia donned a pair of ballerina flats for the occasion, matching the rest of the ensemble in beige and black.
Sofia appeared for the occasion without her husband, Prince Carl Phillip, 45. The couple announced they were expecting their fourth child in September 2024.

After arriving at the event, Sofia stopped to shake hands with the officials. The royal family was welcomed by Stina Liljekvist from the Ideas for life Foundation and Helen Öberg from the Foundation of the Princely Couple.
The princess was also greeted by Erik Pellberg, chairman of the municipal council, and Johanna Lindqvist, director of Gränbyskolan.
After shaking hands, Sofia, holding her hands gently over her stomach, posed next to the officials to take a photo of the day.
The royal also had the chance to chat with students and was pictured shaking hands and chatting with a group of young people at Gränby School.
World Children’s Day is an annual event celebrated all over the world. The aim is to celebrate the power of children to change the world and to raise awareness of the issues they face around the world.
First established in 1954, the event was celebrated every year on November 20 as a reminder of promoting international solidarity and improving the well-being of children.

It is celebrated on November 20 to commemorate the day the UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Right of the Child in 1959.
It is also the same date that the UN General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Right of the Child.
It comes after the Swedish royal family was spotted with her husband at the state opening of parliament.
In early September, the royal family arrived in Stockholm for the annual event, wearing a glamorous red velvet dress with a belted waist and a pair of nude heels.
The 39-year-old completed her fashionable look with a ruby handbag and a pair of statement gold earrings.

The mum looked glamorous in heavy make-up, consisting of a smoky eyeshadow with lipstick, and also wore her brown locks in a bouncy curly blow-dry – after opting for a chic black dress earlier in the day.
Prince Carl Philip looked cheerful and content as he stood proudly by his wife, looking dapper in a navy blue suit.
The State Opening of Parliament is held every year in September, with the monarch, King Carl XVI Gustaf, declaring the new session open during the ceremony.
In collaboration with the Royal Swedish Opera, a concert was also held for members of the Riksdag and invited guests, including the royal family and members of the government.
The red gown was meant for her evening look, but during the day Sofia looked like a vintage beauty in a spotted dress with straps.
The dress had fur around the ends of the long sleeves and she paired the ensemble with black heels, a clutch and a fascinator.
