Princess Peach Showtime gameplay
As the gameplay in the trailer above shows, everywhere Princess Peach: Showtime! you play different roles in different costumes, each with unique abilities that will help you progress through the game and take on the Sour Bunch. Stella, the theater's guardian, also acts as Peach's form of attack within the game, tearing down parts of the set that prevent you from progressing through different levels.
However, Stella alone is not enough to complete the whole Show Time and save the plays that have been stolen, which is where Peach's theatrical skills come in incredibly handy – Peach can take on different alter egos throughout the game and these are the key to success.
Depending on which game you choose to save, Peach will change outfits and take on a ton of different abilities to suit each new area. For example, the latest trailer shows off Kung-Fu Peach, who attacks quickly and engages in fast-paced combat, similar to swordsman Peach, while Detective Peach relies on her ability to discover clues and solve mysteries rather than getting so hands-on with the Sour forest. These different settings and abilities will undoubtedly shake up the in-game content and keep things exciting rather than the game following the traditional platforming element of Mario titles.
Additionally, each setting seems to have some mini-game-like sections, such as what appears to be quick events during combat, or icing a cake like Patisserie Peach, so we expect a lot of variety. within the different areas you explore and the many forms of Peach. Many of these mini-games seem to function in the same way Mario partywhere things are timed and fast to keep players on their toes, all without disrupting the pace of the game.
Finally, a boss battle seems to end every stolen game, which is incredibly similar to reaching the end of a world within a traditional world. Mario Bros. game and take on the boss in Bowser's Castle. That's why we wonder if each stolen game will serve in a similar way to these worlds, and if this is the start of a series of Peach games.
