Princess Peach Kicks and Climbs Walls as Ninja and Cowgirl in the New Princess Peach: Showtime Trailer

Nintendo has released a brand new trailer for Princess Peach: Showtime with two more personas, Ninja and Cowgirl.

Ahead of the game’s official launch in late March, Nintendo has finally revealed the remaining two personas that the titular character can equip during her adventures.

First up is Ninja Peach, who kicked off the latest trailer in style. Equipped with a black stealth suit, a green scarf and two kunai daggers, she can be seen in in-game footage hiding in the foliage to sneak up on enemies before jumping out for a surprise attack.

From the short sequence shown, it appears that Ninja Peach can also climb walls, in a manner reminiscent of platformers like Metroid anxiety.

Cowgirl Peach is what you would expect from the name. In this persona, the character is fully clothed, complete with hat and lasso, the latter of which can be used to grab and throw enemies.

A few more seconds of footage also revealed that it will be a kind of horse racing mini-game, designed after a puppet show that requires the player to jump over fallen parts of the bridge while chasing enemies.

The trailer also showed off four more personas previously revealed, including Kung-Fu Peach, Detective Peach, Patisserie Peach, and Swordfighter Peach, each with their unique abilities and appearance.

In addition to the trailer, Nintendo revealed a brand new set of Pastel Pink Joy-Con controllers for the Nintendo Switch, which will be available for purchase upon the release of Princess Peach: Showtime.

Princess Peach: Showtime launches on March 22 for the Nintendo Switch.
