Princess Olympia of Greece stuns in a blue silk gown as she leads Princess Theodora’s bridal party
Princess Olympia of Greece looked radiant in a blue silk dress as she took her place as bridesmaid at her aunt Princess Theodora’s wedding.
The 28-year-old model – the daughter of Prince Pavlos and Princess Marie-Chantal – was one of five bridesmaids at the wedding of Princess Theodora of Greece and LA-based lawyer fiance Matthew Kumar.
They wore a matching deep blue silk dress with cap sleeves and an elegant round neckline, which all the bridesmaids combined with different hairstyles.
Princess Olympia opted for a clean, sleek bun and kept her makeup fresh and neutral for the royal wedding at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens.
And she paired her blue dress with silver heels and matching silver jewelry.

Arriving at the Metropolitan Cathedral, Olympia quickly ran to her aunt’s aid before entering the main hall to finally exchange vows after a four-year delay.
The 28-year-old was seen trying on Theodora’s Celia Kritharioti dress to ensure the bride was in perfect condition to walk down the aisle on Saturday evening.
The couple’s wedding date – which was postponed twice – is said to have been chosen because it was close to the wedding anniversary of Theodora’s parents, King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie, who married in Athens on September 18, 1964.
Initially, Princess Theodora and her fiancé, who announced their engagement in November 2018, were supposed to get married on the Greek island of Spetses in 2020.
But the couple – who started dating in 2016 – were forced to postpone the May 26 event due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite not walking down the aisle that day, Theodora still celebrated with her husband-to-be, sharing a photo of herself with Matthew on Instagram as they enjoyed Greek salad, olives, bread and cheese and shared a drink.
Posting the photo, the princess wrote: “On what should have been our wedding weekend, the love and support from friends and family was so appreciated. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all in Greece as soon as it’s safe.”
When the pandemic finally ended, Theodora and Matthew set a new wedding date: “early summer” in 2023, in Porto Heli, Greece.

Just a month after the Greek royal family announced the second wedding date, actress Theodora’s father, King Constantine of Greece, passed away.
King Constantine, the last king of Greece who was exiled in 1973 when the monarchy was abolished, had five children; Crown Prince Pavlos, Prince Philippos, Princess Alexia, Princess Theodora and Prince Nikolaos.
The exiled king died in January 2023 at the age of 82. As Theodora mourned her father, she postponed her wedding to Matthew for a second time.
The bride and groom were spotted side by side at the memorial service for King Constantine at St George’s Chapel in Windsor in February 2024, attended by royals from across Europe, including Queen Camilla, King Felipe of Spain and Queen Letizia.

Two months after her father’s death, the princess posted a tribute to him on Instagram, writing: ‘It’s been two months since you left us. I miss you every day daddy. Love you.’
Hello! Greece previously reported that the bride planned to wear a dress designed by Celia Kritharioti – one she had chosen before the original wedding date in 2020.
Celia is Greece’s leading fashion designer, whose elegant creations are worn by the likes of Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Taylor Swift.
She is the owner of the oldest Greek fashion house, which was founded in Athens in 1906 and was present at Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture and London’s Harrods.
