Princess Mary’s maid of honor and best friend Amber Petty weighs in on ‘disgusting and predatory’ Below Deck Down Under drama as she praises ‘true hero’ Aesha Scott

Amber Petty, Princess Mary’s maid of honor and best friend for over 20 years, has weighed in on Aesha Scott’s Below Deck Down Under drama.

Earlier this week, viewers were stunned after chief flight attendant Scott, 31, intervened and saved Margot Sisson from the advances of boatswain Luke Jones.

Elsewhere in the episode, Laura Bileskalne had made drunken advances towards a male crew member, who made it clear he was not interested.

Ms. Petty was quick to support Aesha’s courageous actions, showering her with praise on Instagram.

“That episode with Luke and Laura’s predatory behavior was so disturbing, but thank God for people like you and (Captain) Jason,” she began.

“Incredible and very healing for the millions of women and men who have been abused in this way and have started to doubt themselves.

Or don’t question yourself, but live with the trauma of what happened. Thank you Aesha, you are a true hero,’ Mrs Petty continued.

Her kind words come after Aesha Scott broke her silence over the “horrific” incident in which two crew members were fired for misconduct.

Scott took to social media after Bosun Luke Jones and stew Laura Bileskalnehad were kicked off set after misbehaving while under the influence of alcohol, and Jones drunkenly ran into a female crew member.

Scott released a statement after the most recent episode, saying the drunken behavior she witnessed was against the show’s values.

“I wanted to take the opportunity to remind everyone of the main message that was shown in the episode, which is that women, and basically everyone, have a right to go out and have fun and feel safe and that’s just the f** End of it,’ she began.

“There are no questions or ifs or buts, that’s the end. So keep an eye on your friends and each other.’

“We don’t really know what would have happened, but now that I’m naked in her bed – and she has no idea – I get goosebumps. You have no right to put someone unconscious in that position,” she added.

In the episode in question, Scott steps in after a drunk Jones got overly flirtatious with female stew Margot Sisson, much to her dismay.

“I don’t want drunkenness to be taken advantage of. I just want to see you get into bed safely. I’ll get you some water,’ a worried Scott told Sisson.
