Princess Charlene of Monaco takes part in a painting session with her family

Princess Charlene of Monaco looked stunning as she showed off her new hairstyle and impressive art skills with her husband Albert II and children Jacques and Gabriella.

The 45-year-old royal wore a simple fawn blazer with matching trousers and a cream top for the family day out in Monaco.

The mother-of-two sported her new dark pixie cut slick and shiny and completed the look with minimal make-up and diamond earrings.

Charlene added a little edge to her outfit and topped it off by applying dark nail polish to her fingernails.

Meanwhile, her husband, 65, cut a dapper figure in a nice blue suit as he posed for photos with his wife.

The princess, her husband, Albert II, 65, and their twin children Jacques and Gabriella, eight, were on their way to celebrate the birth of the late Rainier III.

The Principality of Monaco is celebrating the centenary of the birth of Rainier III, whose reign was marked by strong urban development.

Albert II, the son of iconic American movie star Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III, has been married to Princess Charlene since their marriage in 2011.

The couple were also photographed with Princess Stephanie of Monaco, 58, donning a cool white suit for the occasion.

It’s because Charlene recently showed off her new look while stepping out to the Grand Prix along with other members of the royal family.

She sported new hair as she attended the annual motoring event, held at the Circuit de Monaco, with Prince Albert.

In a bold step away from her signature platinum crop, Charlene sported rich, glossy dark auburn hair, still in her signature elfin short haircut.

The royal, who appeared lost in thought as she was photographed next to her husband, paired the dramatic new style with a chic full-length maxi dress in a classic shift style, featuring iridescent stripes down the front.

The couple’s other child, Princess Gabriella, also tried her hand at making art with her mother, who was happy to help

Her locks were simply styled in a side part to show off her simple diamond studs and her elegant make-up look consisting of a fresh base and light brown smoky eyes.

Meanwhile, Prince Albert was smart too, wearing slacks with a classic blazer, a tight shirt and a tie.

Also at the Grand Prix was Grace Kelly’s granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi, 36, accompanied by her husband, Dimitri Rassam, and her son Raphaël, eight.

Meanwhile, Grace Kelly’s grandson, Louis Ducruet, 30, was also in attendance with his wife, Marie Chevallier, also 30.

Pierre Casiraghi, 35, and his wife, Beatrice Borromeo, 37, were also in attendance, alongside Andrea Casiraghi, 38, and his Tatiana Santo Domingo, 39. The couple were pictured with their son Maximilian and daughter India.

Princess Charlene and Prince Albert’s outing followed a public appearance earlier this month when they attended a Buckingham Palace reception hosted by King Charles on the eve of his coronation, before attending the Westminster Abbey ceremony itself.

Their appearance in London followed the couple going public with their children in April, for the first time since the palace was forced to deny rumors that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks.

The family looked picture-perfect as Charlene put her arm around eight-year-old Prince Jacques and placed her other hand on Princess Gabriella’s shoulders as they headed to a game as part of the Sainte Devote Rugby Tournament.

The sweet family act came weeks after a French publication reported that Princess Charlene and Prince Albert were in a divorce process – something the palace has vehemently denied.

After ROYAUTÉ reported that their 12-year marriage was about to end, a spokesperson said the couple “formally deny the malicious rumors spread by the magazine.”

In recent weeks, the pair have put up a united front at events across the principality, including a memorial mass for Prince Albert’s late father, Prince Rainier, earlier this month.

However, Princess Charlene fueled rumors that her marriage was on the rocks when she was spotted on a solo trip to Milan last month without wearing her wedding ring.

She later returned to Monaco and attended an awards ceremony with her husband, again wearing the ring.

Later that day, however, the pair made a joint appearance at the Monte Carlo Woman of the Year awards, where Charlene appeared to be wearing her wedding band, pouring cold water on the split rumors.

The plot seemed to thicken at the next royal engagement, when Prince Albert attended the Rose Ball in Monaco without his wife present.
