Princess Charlene and Prince Albert of Monaco make yet another joint appearance after denying rumours about trouble in their marriage

Princess Charlene and Prince Albert of Monaco were a model of togetherness at the launch of a new boat for Monaco’s maritime police.

Newly released photos of the joint engagement, which took place last week, follow months of speculation about the status of their marriage.

The couple posed for photos with Albert’s niece, Charlotte Casiraghi, 37, who is 11th in line to the Monegasque throne and the daughter of Princess Caroline.

Albert, 65, and Charlene, 45, wore navy blue and white suits with a nautical twist.

The boat they inaugurated, the Saint Georges shuttle, is the latest addition to the police fleet.

It can reach a speed of 45 knots and will be useful for sea rescues and other missions.

Last week, Princess Charlene tried to quell persistent rumors that her marriage to Prince Albert was on the rocks, describing them as ‘exhausting’.

Apparently loved together, this latest engagement is one of many joint outings that Prince Albert and Princess Charlene have taken in recent days.

She only recently made a royal return to Monaco after a solo visit to her native South Africa.

The trip marked her first visit to the country where she grew up since 2021.

During that visit, she suffered a serious illness that kept her away from her husband and eight-year-old twins for months because she could not fly.

In an earlier interview with Italian newspaper Corriere della Sierra, Albert said: “I don’t understand all these rumors about us, which hurt me… they are lies.”

For her part, Charlene claims that she is “serene and happy” in her marriage, denying rumors that surfaced in the German and French media that she was now “living in Switzerland” and that her marriage was “ceremonial.”

Speaking to South Africa’s News24, the princess, who shares twins Jacques and Gabriella with Prince Albert, said before her return last month: “I find the rumors (about my marriage) tiring and tiring.”

Prince Albert was recently spotted by himself at the Singles tournament on the final day of Ryder Cup golf in Italy, wearing a navy blue polo shirt with an official 2023 navy Ryder Cup cap and dark reflective sunglasses this weekend.

Albert appeared to be enjoying the Roman sun, smiling at spectators and chatting with close friends.

And last week, Albert was spotted on a solo outing to Munich’s Oktoberfest, joining friends Clarissa Kuefer and her husband Michael, and Munich-based lawyer Alexander Liegl (who is also Monaco’s honorary consul) at the event.

The royal dressed for the Bavarian Beer Festival as he donned a brown suede jacket and matching button-down trousers to attend the event – while Clarissa looked stunning in a mustard dirndl.

The royal beamed with his friends in the German city after arriving that evening, following a family outing with his children in Monaco earlier in the day.

His visit to Munich marks Albert’s first-ever Oktoberfest in Germany, although he was seen partying at the beer festival in 2020 when it moved to Monaco for that year.

Meanwhile, these appearances come not long after the royal couple took their children to their first day of school earlier last month.

Posing next to her smartly dressed husband, Charlene opted for stylish patterned trousers and a black jumper, while her children were dressed in their school uniforms.

Gabriella wore blue jeans with her school top, while her brother opted for black trousers. Both siblings wore colorful backpacks and opted for sneakers for their first day after summer vacation.

Around the same time in September, Nicole Coste, Albert’s former mistress, posed next to Prince Albert to mark their son Alexandre’s 20th birthday. They were accompanied by Jazmin Grimaldi – Albert’s other illegitimate child – and her other sons from her first marriage.

Before that, Nicole almost came face to face with Albert and Charlene at the 74th annual Red Cross Ball.
